Noel Rodriguez-Alvarez

The remains of the 6-year-old Everman boy were identified by Tarrant County officials on May 15 after a three year search.

Noel Rodriguez-Alvarez was reported missing three years ago. Human remains found behind his former home earlier this week were identified as his, Tarrant County officials announced Friday.

The remains have not yet been identified. Noel went missing in 2022 and is presumed dead.

The ruling came after a psychiatric evaluation for Cindy Rodriguez Singh, according to district court records.

Cindy Rodrigues-Singh was arrested last month by the FBI. Singh was indicted in October 2023 for the capital murder of her son, Noel Rodriguez-Alvarez.

Cindy Rodriguez-Singh has not been seen in the U.S. since March 2023, according to law enforcement.

Six-year-old Noel Rodriguez-Alvarez was last seen alive in October 2022. His mother was indicted for capital murder a year later and suspected of fleeing the country.

Noel has been missing and presumed dead since March. His mother and stepfather fled the country with their six children after law enforcement opened the investigation into his disappearance, police said.
