The City of Dallas’ mobile coronavirus testing service is making house calls, but it saw low numbers over the Memorial Day weekend. 

As Americans observe a subdued Memorial Day, President Trump visited Fort McHenry in Baltimore to remember those soldiers who have fallen in service of the country.

"I stand before you at this noble fortress of American liberty to pay tribute to the immortal souls who fought and died to keep us free," Trump told the crowd, which included several members of his Cabinet. "We pledge in their cherished memories that this majestic flag will proudly fly forever."

Monday is Memorial Day — a day to honor those who have died while serving in the U.S. military. It's also a time to reflect on the sacrifices that service members and their families have made.

World War II veterans from around the country gathered in Gainesville for a Memorial Day ceremony. Some of the aging soldiers trained at Camp Howze there seven decades ago. The men from the 103rd Infantry Division helped to liberate the Dachau Concentration Camp.

Thousands upon thousands turned out to honor American service men and women on Memorial Day at DFW’s National Cemetery. This was also the first year volunteers placed small American Flags at every gravesite.
