After a fight between parents caused a stampede and fears of a shooting, Varsity Spirit says it will make some major changes and called the incident at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center "disappointing and frustrating."

Dallas Police said a fight between parents during Saturday's National Cheerleaders Association competition caused loud noises that attendees mistook for gunshots. Crowds rushed from the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center and police said "there were multiple non-life-threatening injuries during the chaos."
