Ice on Moon
Pentagon scientists say they've found evidence of ice at the moon's south pole. The finding means it might be easier to establish human colonies on the moon. But the moon's south pole is a foreboding piece of real estate -- it's perpetually dark and ultra-cold. NPR's Richard Harris reports.

Lawyers for Palestinian protester being detained by ICE outside Dallas argue for her release
Immigration authorities arrested Leqaa Kordia for allegedly overstaying her visa nearly a year after she attended a pro-Palestinian protest at Columbia University.
Ice Race
Hans Jaap Melissen of Radio Netherlands reports on a race today which took place on the frozen canals and lakes of Holland. More than 16 thousand skaters participated in this 125 mile race which is only run when that country's network of canals freezes over.
North Texas woman detained by ICE after her honeymoon released from detention, attorney says
Ward Sakeik, an Arlington resident of Palestinian descent, had been in Texas immigration detention centers for 140 days after ICE agents detained her as she and her husband returned from their honeymoon to the U.S. Virgin Islands. It's unclear why she's been released.
