From The Newsroom: Fort Worth Symphony Pay Dispute; Fighting Human Trafficking

The top local stories this evening from the KERA Newsroom: On Thursday, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton established a new unit to get more convictions. More than 300 cases of human trafficking were reported in Texas last year. Paxton says it is time to do more to track down the criminals responsible.

Onstage, the Fort Worth Symphony is still making some sublime music. Backstage, though, the sounds aren’t so pretty. Contract talks have been stalled for months. the musicians say they deserve a raise, while management wants another pay cut.
