The top local stories this morning from KERA News: Thousands of people took to the streets across the country to protest President-elect Donald Trump. Several hundred people in Dallas gathered near the American Airlines Center.
The crowd of mostly young people chanted and waved anti-Trump signs. The rally was organized by Next Generation Action Network.
Dallas police say there were no arrests or significant incidents. Protests also took place at UT-Austin and the University of Houston.
