From The Newsroom: Unaccompanied Kids Settle In; School’s Journey To Rose Parade

Allen High School's marching band will perform on a much larger stage next week: the Tournament of Roses Parade in California.

The top local stories this morning from the KERA Newsroom: 179 unaccompanied children from Central America are settling in at Sabine Creek Ranch in Rockwall County after arriving over the weekend.

KERA’s Stephanie Kuo took a tour of their temporary home.

  • The Allen High School marching band will be in Pasadena, California next week for the Tournament of Roses Parade. The band is finishing up last-minute preparations before their cross-country trip.
