Dallas, TX –

The winter storm moving through North Texas this morning is a dangerous mix, according to National Weather Service forecaster Nick Hampshire.

Hampshire: that mix of snow, sleet and kind of a mist or drizzle, and when you get that, that's what makes the roads really dangerous because that liquid water is going to freeze as soon as it hits any surface, including the roadways.

Hampshire says the mist and sleet will turn to snow, and taper off about noon. Winds of up to 30 miles an hour put the "wind chill" around ZERO.
