Top Stories: Giving Teachers A Raise Using The Lottery; Spotlight On Deep Ellum Bookstore

Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick wants to give many teachers a bonus, and he'd use state lottery revenue to pay for it. That would require amending the state Constitution, and Patrick said today he's going to push for that during the Texas Legislature's special session that starts Tuesday.
