Top Stories: Dallas City Council Denies Porn Convention; Imagine Your Mistakes Up On Stage

The top stories this afternoon from KERA News: A traveling porn expo is not welcome at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center. The Dallas City Council on Wednesday approved a resolution that bans the expo from returning to the city-owned center in downtown. The vote was close, and now the city could be facing a lawsuit. 

In Fort Worth, the new school district superintendent, is making big changes. Trustees approved the plan Tuesday night. As KERA reports, the district will cut 10 executive positions, reassign central office employees and put more money into struggling schools.
