From The Newsroom: $30 Million For Downtown Dallas Parks; Plano Math Whiz
The top local stories this evening from the KERA Newsroom: Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings announced that four key downtown parks will receive $30 million toward new park space and upgrades. The landmark commitment comes from the Belo Foundation, which moving forward will operate as Parks for Downtown Dallas.
Plano High School math whiz David Yue recently won a national science fair honor for his project that could reduce dangerous radiation from medical CT scans.
