Lindsay Diaz has been struggling since losing her home after last year’s Christmas weekend tornadoes. Her underinsured Rowlett duplex was severely damaged — then, just after deciding to repair her home, a demolition company mistakenly tore down what was left of it.
As Courtney Collins reports, construction on the rebuild is just now getting started, nearly a year later.

- Justice Stephen Breyer was in North Texas on Tuesday. Breyer has served on the United States Supreme Court for more than 20 years. In that time, he’s seen a distinct rise in the number of cases that require him and his colleagues to engage with other legal systems around the world. - Theatre Three has a new artistic director – only its second in its 55-year history. For over a decade, Jeffrey Schmidt has directed, designed and acted at Theater 3, and he’s also been an artist-in-residence there.
