The top local stories this morning from the KERA Newsroom: A state audit has found former Dallas County District Attorney Craig Watkins misused forfeiture money.
The Dallas Morning News obtained an advanced copy of the audit, which found Watkins spent about 80-thousand dollars from an asset forfeiture fund for personal legal fees, travel for himself and aides, and a football sponsorship.
