From The Newsroom: Kent Scribner Is Officially Fort Worth’s Superintendent

Kent Scribner previously led the largest high school district in Phoenix, Arizona.

The top local stories this morning from the KERA Newsroom:  Kent Scribner is Fort Worth’s new superintendent after the school board made it official last night. Scribner will start the new job in mid-October.

Also, the Dallas Landmark Commission yesterday gave the green light on giving the Lakewood Theater a landmark designation.
