The top local stories this morning from the KERA Newsroom: When we think of the homeless, there’s a certain picture that comes to mind. However, homelessness can happen to anyone. We begin the first of a four-week series focusing on the 111,000 homeless students who attend public schools in Texas.

Also, there’s a new exhibit in Arlington that puts beach sand castles to shame.

You can listen to North Texas stories weekdays at 8:20 a.m. and 6:20 p.m. on KERA 90.1 FM.
