The top local stories this morning from the KERA Newsroom: The Texas Senate could approve a campus carry bill as early as today. Also, we’ll hear the story of a North Texas woman who beat cancer twice; as a teen and as an adult.

Our Big Screen time previews some of the movies they saw at SXSW, which will also be showing at the Dallas International Film Festival.

Finally, SMU will face UCLA this afternoon in the NCAA men’s basketball tournament.
