From The Newsroom: Solving Crimes Against Women; Surviving Childhood Cancer

The top local stories this morning from the KERA Newsroom: The 10th annual Conference on Crimes Against Women ends today in Dallas. About 1,600 people from around the country have spent the week learning about new technology for investigations and prosecutions of sex crimes. 

Also, we'll begin our new Breakthroughs series called Growing Up After Cancer. Lauren Silverman introduces Jude Cobler, a North Texas boy who was diagnosed with leukemia in kindergarten.
