The top local stories this evening from the KERA Newsroom: Fort Worth-based RadioShack may be nearing its end. Bill Zeeble talks to an analyst who's been following the retailer's decline. 

Also: Southern Methodist University and the University of North Texas announced major arts awards today. The winners will also be coming to North Texas in the next year.
