Dallas, TX – Texans are getting a bit of a break from rising gasoline prices. Dan Ronan with AAA-Texas says prices remained flat in the latest weekly survey: an average $3.43 a gallon.
Ronan: .Now we're still paying a lot more than what we were a year ago: 70-80 cents in some cases. So, that's a big deal and it's costing a lot more. But it's nice to see gas prices not jumping up so quickly.
The average price for a gallon of gas in Dallas is $3.44 - a penny less in Fort Worth.
Ronan says the average 14 gallon fill-up costs 48 dollars in Texas. That's 11 dollars more than a year ago.
