Dallas, TX – A member of the Highland Hills Posse, a Pleasant Grove street gang, faces up to 29 years in prison for shooting a federal agent during a raid on a drug ring in September.
Gary Montgomery, also known as "G-Bone", pleaded guilty in federal court Monday morning. Prosecutors say he fired several times through his front door as federal agents attempted to serve a warrant. One of the bullets seriously wounded at ATF Agent.
According to court records, Montgomery ran a drug distribution ring in a couple of Pleasant Grove neighborhoods.
He also pleaded guilty to cocaine and firearms charges.
