Dallas, TX –

All five defendants in the Dallas City Hall Corruption trial have been convicted.

The jury this morning found both former Dallas council member Don Hill and former Plan Commissioner D'Angelo Lee guilty on seven out of nine counts.

Hill's wife, Sheila Farrington Hill, was convicted on five out of six counts.

Community activist Darren Reagan also was found guilty on two out of three counts and car dealer Rickey Robertson was convicted of some counts as well.

The jury began deliberations Wednesday after months of testimony. At issue was whether Hill and the others sought cash and contracts in return for his vote on affordable housing projects.

KERA's BJ Austin will have more on today's verdicts during All Things Considered.
