The top local stories this afternoon from KERA News: In the 1980s, Lee Lozano quit the New York art world and moved to Dallas. When she died in 1999, Lozano was buried in an unmarked grave. Recently, her artworks have been selling for half-a-million dollars, and finally, they’re getting shown in a Dallas gallery.

In communist Romania during the 1980s, people fell in love with the only American show allowed on television, “Dallas.” Now, a new film captures the unlikely connection between the show and its Romanian fans. The movie is called “Hotel Dallas,” and it will play at the Dallas International Film Festival this weekend.
