Central Expressway will be shut down in both directions in parts of Plano and Richardson this weekend, starting early Saturday morning.
U.S. Highway 75 between Renner Road in Richardson and 15th Street in Plano will be closed so crews can remove the remaining portion of the Plano Parkway overpass.
All main-lane traffic will be diverted to access roads from approximately 2 a.m. Saturday until approximately 5 a.m. Monday.
Bush Turnpike exits to and from Central Expressway will not be accessible.

The shutdown is part a $37 million project to improve the U.S. Highway 75 interchange at President George Bush Turnpike. It's considered one of the busiest in Dallas-Fort Worth by the Texas Department of Transportation.
Work on the interchange project is scheduled to be completed in early 2019.
