Top Stories: Early Voting Ends Today For Municipal Runoff Elections

The top local stories this morning from KERA News:

This is the last day to vote early before Saturday's municipal runoff elections across North Texas.

There’s a runoff on the Dallas ISD school board between Justin Henry and incumbent Bernadette Nutall for the District 9 seat. There are also runoffs for mayor of Flower Mound and Lancaster, as well as city council runoffs in Lancaster and several other cities.

There's also a school board race to settle in the Grapevine-Colleyville school district.

Other stories this morning:

  • A federal court ruling today will determine whether Dallas-based AT&T can buy Time Warner.
  • Some have raised concerns about whether active shooter drills in schools give potential shooters too much inside information.
