Storms Are Back In The Forecast For North Texas With Chance Of Hail, Isolated Tornado

After our day in the sun, we face strong-to-severe storms Tuesday and Wednesday in North Texas.

On Tuesday, storms from late morning in to the evening could bring up to 1 inch of hail and heavy rainfall, according to the National Weather Service in Fort Worth.

On Wednesday, severe storms will be possible in the afternoon and evening, especially along and east of Interstate 35. Hail, damaging winds and an isolated tornado are all potential hazards.

Isolated flooding could result from either Tuesday or Wednesday’s storms because of recent widespread rain.

This month is the third wettest February on record for the region. As of Feb. 26, we’ve received over 6.5 inches of rain.
