The top local stories this morning from KERA News:
There's no movement yet on a lawsuit by the Dallas County Republican Party to remove 128 Democrats from the primary ballot.
The suit alleges the county's Democratic Party chair didn't sign the candidates' petitions as required by law before sending them to the Texas Secretary of State's office.
State Senator Royce West of Dallas is among the candidates at risk for being removed from the ballot. He told WFAA's Inside Texas Politics he's not worried.
Lawyers for 14 of candidates have asked a court to dismiss the case. They say the Dallas County GOP have no standing to bring the suit, since they are not candidates in the election.
Ballots have already been printed and the absentee voting process began on Jan. 20.
