Top Stories: Governor Greg Abbott Warns Dallas County Over Sanctuary Status

The top local stories this morning from KERA News:

Governor Greg Abbott threatened to come down on Dallas County if it makes itself a "Sanctuary City." Abbott's statement came in reaction to a resolution passed by Dallas County commissioners this week that aims at welcoming immigrants, including those undocumented.

Other stories this morning:

  • The eighth bishop of Dallas is set to take over on Thursday. Edward Burns will be installed in front of a large crowd at the Shrine of the Virgin of Guadalupe in downtown.
