The top local stories this morning from KERA News:

A new poll released by the nonprofit Texas Lyceum finds Donald Trump leads Hillary Clinton among likely Texas voters in the 2016 Presidential race, but it’s tight.

Trump polled at 39 percent among likely voters to Clinton’s 32 percent. Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson polled at 9 percent and Green Party candidate Jill Stein was at 3 percent. Another 17 percent said that they hadn’t thought enough about it to have an opinion, or didn’t know who they would support.

When it comes to policy though, 59 percent of Texas adults oppose Trump’s plan to build a border wall between the U.S. and Mexico.
