The top local stories this morning from KERA News: Voters will have to go back to the polls June 18th to decide a runoff for a Dallas school board seat formerly held by state education commissioner Mike Morath.

Dustin Marshall and Mita Havlick will face off for the District 2 seat. Whoever wins will join returning District 5 incumbent Lew Blackburn – and two newcomers – Jaime Resendez in District 4 and Audrey Pinkerton in District 7.

In other elections, Fort Worth voters narrowly approved expanding the city council from 8 to 10 members. However, voters rejected more pay for the mayor and city council members.
