From The Newsroom: The House Majority Whip Race; Vickery Meadow After Ebola

The top local stories this morning from the KERA Newsroom: U.S. Representative Pete Sessions, a Republican from Dallas, is throwing his hat into the race to be the House majority whip.

Also, out of the millions of Syrians who have fled civil war in their country, only a few thousand have come to the U.S. We'll hear from one family who’s settled in Fort Worth.

And finally, the Vickery Meadow neighborhood of Dallas was at the center of the Ebola scare last year. Stella Chavez checks in to see how the community has recovered since.
