The top local stories this morning from the KERA Newsroom: Fort Worth’s city manager has named the city’s new police chief. Joel Fitzgerald will be coming in from leading the police force in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

Our series, “Surviving Ebola,” continues with the economic impact of the Ebola scare in Dallas. Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas took the biggest financial hit, but there were people who made money.

 

And finally, North Texas actor Julio Caesar Cedillo got to work opposite Benecio Del Toro for the movie, “Sicaro.” He tells our Big Screen team about that experience.
