The top local stories this morning from the KERA Newsroom: A who’s-who of First Ladies and heads of major tech companies are in Dallas for the Global Women’s Network summit at the George W. Bush Presidential Center.

Also, charter schools have paired up with public colleges in the past, but Trinity Environmental Academy is pairing up with the private Paul Quinn College.

Finally, Kehinde Wiley’s art retrospective is open at the Modern Art Museum in Fort Worth. Jerome Weeks explores the artist’s rising star, which is due in part to the subject matter he explores.
