From The Newsroom: Timberlawn Will Stay Open A Little Longer; Potential Oscar Contenders

The top local stories this morning from the KERA Newsroom: Timberlawn Mental Health System in Dallas has reached a deal with federal regulators to keep its doors open while it re-enrolls for Medicare and Medicaid funding. The facility has been under scrutiny by the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) since 2014.

Also, many adults took to social media to voice their thoughts on the Ahmed Mohamed case, but what do his classmates think? Chris Connelly visited MacArthur High to find out.
