From The Newsroom: UT Southwestern Expands; Revisiting The School Bus

The top local stories this morning from the KERA Newsroom: UT Southwestern Medical Center will be building a new center in Fort Worth. The Monty and Tex Moncrief Medical Center will be UT Southwestern’s first named campus outside of Dallas.

Also, as students and parents are doing last-minute shopping for the first day of school, bus drivers across North Texas are getting ready also. Stella Chavez rode with one Fort Worth driver as she practiced her route.

Finally, when NorthPark Center opened in 1965, Nancy Nasher was just 10 years old. As the mall turns 50 years old, Nasher reflects on how she took on the family business her parents started.
