The top local stories this morning from the KERA Newsroom: 50 looks good on NorthPark Center. At a time when malls are closing, NorthPark is still one of the top-performing malls in the country. Courtney Collins takes a look at how the mall has evolved over 50 years.

And today in Vital Signs, add vaccines to the long list of back-to-school necessities for college students. Dr. Brian Jones of Methodist Family Health Center Cedar Hill explains why college-bound students need certain vaccines.
