The top local stories this morning from the KERA Newsroom: Yesterday’s Dallas City Council meeting was the first voting meeting since six new council members were sworn in. A vote on a measure by freshman council member Adam McGough may have signaled a different direction on the Trinity Parkway Project.  

Jerome Weeks reviews a new stage play which imagines a post-apocalyptic world where survivors re-tell episodes of “The Simpsons” to pass the time.
