The top local stories this morning from the KERA Newsroom: Lauren Silverman toured Parkland Hospital's new tower for expecting and new mothers. The facility is part of the $1.3 billion upgrade for Parkland that will open in August.

Also,  acetaminophen products maybe our go-to choice for aches and pains, but a new study suggests thatit doesn't do much for back pain.

Finally, a long overdue honor for Oak Cliff's pride and joy: the late Stevie Ray Vaughan was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with his band, Double Trouble.
