The Trinity Parkway Design Charrette recommended a four-lane, meandering parkway instead of the six-lane, high speed toll road currently in the works.

The top stories this morning from the KERA Newsroom: Yesterday, the Dallas city council voted to approve the new recommendations for the Trinity Parkway. That vote did not come without some confusion, counter amendments and accusations of political maneuvering. 

Finally, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble will be inducted into the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame Saturday in Cleveland.
