The top local stories this evening from the KERA Newsroom: The weather may be nice in North Texas, but the blizzard in the Northeast has canceled more than 7,000 flights - a number of them from Dallas airports. 

Also, NPR's Michel Martin gives a sneak peek into tomorrow's discussion of football ethics at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science, and Serial's Sarah Koenig will headline a podcasting conference in North Texas.
