The top local stories this evening from the KERA Newsroom: The first order of business for the 84th session of the Texas Legislature was re-electing Rep. Joe Straus for House Speaker. Also, Prime Prep Academy will appoint new managers, and we'll hear about an initiative from the Arlington school district to get more graduates enrolled in college.
