Dallas, TX – A North Texas university was locked down earlier after a male student made a threat during a class and then left.
Nobody has been harmed at Texas Woman's University in Denton.
The TWU Denton Campus Lock-down has been lifted. The individual who is alleged to have made verbal threats in a class is in custody. TWU shortly after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday advised students and staff to "please remain inside" during the search for the man.
A statement from TSU says the lockdown began when the man made unspecified verbal threats. After the student left, the instructor dismissed the class and notified security.
TWU, with enrollment of about 14,000, is located 50 miles north of Dallas.
