Dallas, TX – With mid-term elections on the horizon and no chance of a debate between the major gubernatorial candidates, KERA presents Voter's Voice: Race for Governor. It's a half-hour program for television and radio that looks at how republican incumbent Rick Perry and democrat Bill White measure up on the most important challenges in our state: the economy and jobs; immigration and border security; integrity and truthfulness.

KERA News Director Shelley Kofler will lead the discussion with Fort Worth Star-Telegram columnist Bud Kennedy and SMU political science professor Cal Jillson. The program includes interview segments with Perry and White; voter comments; and recent non-partisan polling data provided by The Texas Lyceum.
