Dallas, TX – Eight Dallas freeways are in the top 20 "Most Congested" roadways in the state.
The Texas Department of Transportation is out with the 2010 list of the 100 worst "gridlocked" areas.
Harris County/Houston takes the top two spots. But I-635/LBJ between 35 and Central is the number three most congested. It racked up more than three million hours of annual gridlock delay.
Tarrant County's worst roadway is 35W, between I-30 and Highway 183. It's number 8 on the list.
TxDot officials say this year's list was calculated in a more accurate way to reflect actual speed and congestion points.
