Dallas, TX – The Irving mother accused of strangling her two children wanted "normal" kids.

In the 9-1-1 call Monday afternoon, Saiqa Akhter told police she killed both of her children. She said both were autistic and she didn't want them to be like that. "I want normal kids," she told police.

The 30 year old Akhter appeared in court this morning, and was formally charged in the death of her five year old son. Her toddler daughter died Tuesday night, after being on life support. Akhter's court appearance in the girl's death comes later.
