Dallas, TX – ESPN will broadcast from Fort Worth's Sundance Square during the week leading to Super Bowl 45.

Mayor Mike Moncrief says a private-sector committee called "Touchdown Fort Worth" pitched Cowtown to ESPN executives.

Moncrief: We felt that we offered a unique product - with a city has a downtown vibrancy; that has a rich Western heritage that is Texas.

ESPN's outdoor set will use the Square's cattle drive mural as a backdrop for more than 80 hours of live broadcasting. Mayor Moncrief says it will introduce millions of viewers to Fort Worth.

Dallas will host the NFL Experience in the Convention Center. That's a National Football League's interactive theme park.

The big game in Arlington's Cowboys Stadium is February 6th.
