Dallas, TX – Production has continued at the General Motors Plant in Arlington. But, so has a parts shortage.
GM isn't saying what parts or why there's a shortage, but company spokeswoman Donna McClellan says they may have to halt production again, possibly Monday.
McClellan: we had scheduled production overtime for Saturday and we are canceling that overtime. Now we continue to monitor the situation and we're going to determine on Sunday whether we can run production on Monday.
Flooding along the border could be the cause. According to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, the flooding has slowed delivery of parts to GM and Chrysler.
