Dallas, TX – You may now apply the phrase, "there's an APP for that" to the Dallas Zoo.

The Zoo's Sean Greene says Dallas is the second zoo in Texas to create an iPhone application.

Greene: The Dallas Zoo App is a free App. You just go to the iPhone, and Apple iPhone application store, type in Dallas Zoo. It'll find that. It'll load up for free. Put your password in. And in a matter of a few minutes, you've got the whole Zoo at your fingertips.

Greene says there's information on the nearest bathroom or concession stand, as well as detailed profiles of the animals, and special events -- like feeding times.

The Houston Zoo is already using iPhone technology, but Dallas is doing it in English AND Spanish - the first Zoo in the U.S. to have a bilingual smart-phone App.
