Dallas, TX –

The Texas Attorney General has sued a Dallas all-terrain-vehicle web business for deceptive trade practices. The lawsuit says Frontier Imports Incorporated, which runs ATVdiscounters.com, sold ATV's by web or phone. Tom Kelley, with the Attorney General's office, says the company then failed to deliver the goods.

Kelley: What was delivered to that customer many times was a less expensive vehicle. Other customers received vehicles, ATVs, that had damaged headlights, damaged tail lights malfunctioning fuel systems. And other customers never received anything.

Neither the company nor defendants in the suit could be reached for comment. The business web page says "we're closed."
