Dallas, TX –

20 thousand runners will converge on downtown Dallas early Sunday morning for the start of the annual White Rock Marathon.

DART's Morgan Lyons says they are adding a seasonal "red and green" mix of trains to get runners to the American Airlines Center for the 8 o'clock starting gun.

Morgan Lyons: We are going to have, in addition to green line service, direct red line service from Park Road station to Victory station to get people there prior to the race.

The 26.2 mile course begins and ends at Victory Park at the American Airlines Center. It winds through Turtle Creek/Highland Park, around White Rock Lake, and back through Lakewood and the Swiss Avenue district.

Six thousand are signed up to run the full marathon; 10 thousand, the half marathon, and four thousand are in the relay races.
