Dallas, TX –

Tarrant County is reporting its 9th H1N1-related death. Officials say a child under two years old died last month of flu-related illness. Lab tests confirmed H1N1.

Last week, Tarrant County began offering the H1N1 vaccine to the general population, not just those in the identified high risk groups.

Dallas and Collin Counties begin offering the H1N1 vaccine to "everyone" Monday.

Zack Thompson is Dallas County Health Director:

Thompson: Anyone in Dallas County, who lives in Dallas County, who wants to get the H1N1 vaccine can come to our three clinics; the Stemmons location, our clinic in Irving as well as our clinic in Farmers Branch, starting at 8 o'clock - walk-in clinics.

In Collin County free H1N1 shots are available at Children & Community Health Center of McKinney, as well as PrimaCare locations in Frisco, McKinney, and Plano. Pharmacies also have the vaccine available for an "administrative fee."

Tarrant County Public Health has 7 clinics where the vaccine is available, and tomorrow will have five shopping center "storefront" locations open for convenience.
